Catch-all Emails
What is a catch-all e-mail account? How does it work? How could you make this type of account?
A catch-all feature that is activated for a certain mailbox will permit you to receive emails that are sent to email addresses that do not actually exist. Otherwise stated, if you disable an email address and someone still sends an email to it, or to any miswritten email address under the same domain, you will receive the message in the catch-all mailbox. Using this feature implies that you will no longer miss an email for any reason whatsoever, which could be crucial in case you run some business, for instance. Since you may begin receiving junk email messages, you can use the catch-all functionality with email filters in order to get only real messages in your inbox. Only one mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be activated for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Shared Hosting
In case you host a domain name on our cloud hosting platform and you have a shared hosting account, you’ll be able to enable the catch-all feature for any email mailbox that you set up under the domain name. The Hepsia hosting Control Panel’s Email Manager section offers quite a few functions, but it is really user-friendly, so setting up a catch-all mailbox takes just one single click of the mouse. All the email addresses that you’ve created will be displayed in this section in alphabetical order and you will just need to click on the "Catch-all" button pertaining to the particular address. Our system will warn you if there’s already another catch-all mailbox enabled for that domain name or if the one that you would like to be a catch-all mailbox has email forwarding activated, so you can either disable the latter feature or pick some other mailbox. Disabling the catch-all feature is just as easy and takes one more click on the very same button.
- Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers
The catch-all feature can be enabled without any difficulty if you have a semi-dedicated server account with us. All the email addresses that you have created using the domains hosted in your semi-dedicated server account will be shown in the Hepsia hosting Control Panel’s Email Manager section and you will notice a tiny symbol conveniently situated right next to each one of them. With just one click, you can enable or disable the catch-all option for any mailbox of your choosing as long as there isn't another mailbox under that same domain with the option already activated and there isn't activated email forwarding. Alternatively, you can right-click on a mailbox and activate this option through the menu that will show up. If any of the preconditions for setting up a catch-all mailbox is not fulfilled, our system will let you know, but will not deactivate or replace anything automatically. - Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers
